Job summary

PwC Canada seeks a Performance & Restructuring Senior Associate to deliver strategic advice in distress and recovery scenarios, including M&A, restructuring and court-supervised processes. You will model cash flow, develop turnaround plans, and support business development across PwC’s Deals Practice.

Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent, strong financial modelling, and client-relations skills are required.

Qualifications

Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal designation or commitment to CPA
Excellent accounting, financial analysis and financial modelling skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and on multiple projects in a team
Strong customer relationship and business development skills
Understanding of business operations, risks and success factors
Clear, concise and professional reports/presentations

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to understand their views, needs and services for financial/operational situations
Perform cash flow modelling and sensitivity analysis
Strategic planning with business case and scenario modelling and financial analysis
Identify reasons for underperformance and assess ongoing viability
Assist in preparing presentations/reports for stakeholders
Help management develop and implement turnaround plans
