Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a live-in or daily caregiver in Vancouver to look after children and manage household tasks. The role includes full childcare duties, light housekeeping, and meal preparation for a family of young children.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience, excellent hygiene routines, and a friendly, patient approach. Accommodation is optional and not required for employment.

Qualifications

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare.
  • Ability to accompany family on trips and supervise children.
  • Ability to cook nutritious meals and manage infant routines.

Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
  • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
