Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a General Manager, Outlets to lead a premier dining operation. This role drives vision, engagement and guest service across the outlets, ensuring quality, efficiency and a memorable guest experience within a luxury setting.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor department leaders, forecast performance and maintain high standards in beverage, culinary and wine knowledge. Strong computer literacy and prior experience in high-volume bars are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management.
• Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledge required.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs.
• Minimum of one year experience in a high volume bar setting, preferably in a full service four or five diamond property is a strong asset but not required.
• Experience with Silverware is preferred.
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset.

As a General Manager, Restaurant you will provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality, efficiency and superior service. This position will be responsible for the effective and efficient day to day operation of a fast paced premier dining establishment.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Responsible for the service excellence and efficient day to day operation
• Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders, and employees
• Actively coach all employees to ensure that superior guest service is the primary focus
• Participate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage or Hotel Management

Your experience and skills include:
