Work Location: On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  1. Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
  2. Develop budget to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  3. Evaluate daily operations
  4. Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  5. Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
  6. Monitor staff performance
  7. Plan and organize daily operations
  8. Set staff work schedules
  9. Supervise staff
  10. Train staff
  11. Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  12. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  13. Conduct performance reviews
  14. Cost products and services
  15. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  16. Organize and maintain inventory
  17. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  18. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  19. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  20. Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  21. Lead/instruct individuals
  22. Address customers' complaints or concerns
  23. Provide customer service
  24. Manage events
