- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits.
- Develop budget to determine costs of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
- Evaluate daily operations and modify food preparation methods and menu prices accordingly.
- Monitor staff performance, plan, organize daily operations, and train staff.
- Determine service offerings and implement operational procedures.
- Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Cost products and services, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and supplies, and with clients for catering or facility use.
- Participate in marketing plans and their implementation.
- Lead and instruct team members, address customer complaints, and provide excellent customer service.
Supervision
- Supervise 5-10 staff members.
