Job summary

Sunshine Village Corporation is seeking a Utilities Operator to maintain and operate domestic water and wastewater treatment, supply and distribution of propane, gasoline and diesel, and related facilities for Resort users. The role reports to the Utilities Supervisor and collaborates with Maintenance and other departments.

The position requires constant monitoring of systems, inspections, troubleshooting, and meticulous record-keeping to ensure a safe, high-quality, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High school grad or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform hands-on tasks.
• Be at least 21 years of age with a valid AB driver’s license.
• Positive, mature, friendly attitude and dependable.
• Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily checks, logs, maintenance logs, and inventory counts.
• Report unusual operating conditions and incidents to appropriate teams.
• Communicate and adhere to safety policies, procedures, regulations and certifications.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident and deficiencies reporting to departments.
