Job summary

InnServices, located in Innisfil, is seeking a Water Utilities Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of water treatment sites and distribution systems. The role includes ensuring compliance with provincial regulations and town policies for public health and safety.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years’ experience in water distribution and treatment, and MECP Class I licenses; a driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in a water distribution and water treatment environment (required).
• MECP Class I Certification in Water Treatment and Water Distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains all water treatment systems to control production and water quality for public users.
• Performs rounds of treatment facilities to monitor chemical usage, production, reservoir levels, and system pressures.
• Responds to customer service requests and participates in on-call rotations as required.
