Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort is seeking a Guest Safety & Parking Manager to lead daily safety and parking operations across the resort, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, this role oversees incident response and emergency preparedness, drives continuous improvement, recruits and coaches frontline teams, and builds strong partnerships with police and first responders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in safety, security, or emergency management in a guest-centric environment.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver License.
• Must have First Aid/CPR/AED certified training.
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including first responders and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day safety and parking operations to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and employees.
• Oversee incident response, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage guest safety, parking and public-facing operations across the resort.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and lead frontline Security and Parking teams with a service-oriented culture.
• Maintain a visible presence, assist guests, enforce policies, and de-escalate issues when required.
• Lead investigations and documentation; support emergency preparedness initiatives and follow-up actions.
• Develop relationships with police, fire, EMS and other community partners.
• Oversee parking capacity, traffic flow, revenue controls, equipment and service standards.
