Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort, part of Alterra Mountain Company, seeks a Guest Safety & Parking Manager to lead safety, parking and guest services across the resort, reporting to the Director of Emergency Services. Requires 5+ years in safety, security or emergency management in guest-focused settings, plus Ontario Security Guard License, Ontario Driver License and First Aid/CPR/AED.

• Proven ability to lead frontline teams and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily guest safety, parking, and public-facing operations across the resort.
• Recruiting, training, scheduling, and leading frontline Security and Parking teams; maintaining policy compliance.
• Maintaining a visible presence to assist guests, address concerns, and de-escalate situations.
• Leading incident response, investigations, and documentation; supporting emergency preparedness.
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and resort policies; coordinating with police, fire, EMS, and partners.
• Overseeing parking capacity, traffic flow, revenue controls, equipment, and service standards; identifying safety improvements.
