Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Canada seeks a Residential Sales Representative to join the western Quebec and eastern Ontario territory.

You will plan and manage territory activities to grow sales and market share using approved sales and marketing strategies and tools while delivering excellent service to all customers in the territory. The role reports to the Sales Director and Sales Supervisor, and you will develop relationships with contractors, distributors and end users, present products and

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Prior sales experience in building products; knowledge of roofing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned distributors and customers in territory.
• Contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders and architects regularly to drive demand.
• Present products and programs to distributors and end users weekly.
• Provide product knowledge trainings to customers.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and administrative tasks promptly.
• Submit weekly territory activity reports.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Handle product quality complaints in the territory.
• Adhere to IKO policies, Health & Safety and Vehicle policies.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
