Job summary
IKO Industries Ltd. in Winnipeg, Manitoba seeks an Architectural & Technical Representative for our commercial sales team. You will promote IKO Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope products to design professionals, contractors and distributors, and respond to technical inquiries on roofing issues.
The role is based in Winnipeg, with travel and opportunities for growth within a market-leading company renowned for its stability and commitment to customers.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a related position and/or technical sales experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding and active use of MS PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Some overnight travel required.
- Experience with roofing and building envelopes is an asset.
- College or university degree is an asset.
- Roofing or Construction degree is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Review job specifications and work with design professionals to list IKO in manuals.
- Liaise with contractors and distributors to ensure IKO products are used on projects.
- Identify, qualify, create demand, and pursue opportunities with accounts.
- Conduct product knowledge training sessions such as lunch & learns.
- Develop relationships with product specifiers, users and decision makers.
- Conduct site visits, quality control, and produce written reports.
- Attend association events to promote IKO Commercial products.
