Job summary

Akelius Residential Property AB is seeking a property administrator to support a portfolio of residential properties in Toronto. This backfill role partners with the property manager to ensure business objectives are met and to coordinate property maintenance in compliance with Akelius standards and legal requirements.

You will manage lease and legal administration, build tenant relationships, process rent and arrears, and handle move-in/out inspections while communicating professionally with

Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years of residential property administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field.
• Proficient with Yardi Voyager.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Confident taking initiative and making decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage lease and legal administration process of assigned portfolio.
• Build and maintain positive tenant relationships.
• Maintain organized filing systems for tenants and vendors.
• Process rent payments and cheque requisitions.
• Issue legal notices and manage deadlines.
• Prepare and process collections for overdue accounts.
• Organize move-in and out inspections.
• Prepare and distribute notices.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors and stakeholders.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
