Avenir Energy is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to grow our residential customer base. You’ll manage inbound and outbound opportunities, guide customers through the sales process, and deliver a one-call solution whenever possible. No propane experience?

Training is provided. Your drive, resilience, and customer-first mindset matter most as you convert leads, upsell propane solutions, and support retention using our CRM system.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and comfort working with multiple systems.
• Previous sales experience is an asset.
• Ability to cold call and proactively generate sales opportunities.
• Comfort handling objections, rejection, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is an asset.
• Experience in propane, HVAC, or related industries is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Validate and qualify inbound leads from CX calls, website inquiries, and social media channels.
• Distribute and manage leads using our CRM system
• Convert residential customers, including tank swap and customer conversion opportunities
• Deliver a one-call solution by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate propane solutions
• Conduct outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities
• Follow up with customers after proposal submissions to close sales
• Support customer retention efforts, including handling more complex or challenging customer conversations
• Track all sales activities, leads, and follow-ups accurately in the CRM
• Participate in additional sales activities and projects as assigned
