Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Ontario to provide resident care per care plans and support in maintaining a safe environment. You will observe, document, and assist with daily activities to improve residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care to ensure alignment with the plan of care.
• Assist in documenting resident information as directed.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
