Job summary

Campus Living Centres is seeking a Residence Life Manager to create a safe and engaging living environment for students. You will oversee the Residence Life program, supervise Community Assistants, and collaborate with the property management team to support resident experiences.

The role requires leadership, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to coordinate promotions, community events, and partnerships with university departments.

Qualifications

• Recognized College Diploma or University Degree. Education in Student Affairs, Business, Hospitality, Property Management, Social Sciences, or a related field would be considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of student housing operations and the student living experience.
• Proven leadership and management abilities, including the capacity to train, supervise, coach, and mentor student staff.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and managing complex resident concerns.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Residence Life activities during move-in, move-out and major transitions.
• Support occupancy and resident experience initiatives as required.
• Monitor departmental spending and manage the Residence Life budget.
• Ensure resident concerns and incidents are documented and escalated as required.
• Develop partnerships with university departments and community partners to enhance the student living experience.
• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and mentor a team of Community Assistants.
