Job summary

Campus Living Centres is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead administrative and managerial operations at a student housing property. Acting as the right hand to the General Manager, this role requires adept coordination, supervision, and strong leadership across staff and tasks to align with company objectives.

Effective communication, budgeting, leasing, and tenant relations will be essential as you oversee day-to-day activities, ensure safety, and maintain a welcoming living

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years industry experience or equivalent management experience.
• Residential leasing agent or sales experience with strong organizational skills (2 years).
• Familiarity with property management software is preferred (Yardi, MRI, Entrata, Rent Cafe).

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and oversee tenant relationships and satisfaction.
• Coordinate daily operations and staff assignments under General Manager.
• Assist in budgeting, rent collection, move-ins/outs, and evictions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and tenancy regulations.
• Collaborate with property management teams to deliver consistent service.
• Lead or participate in events to foster a welcoming resident community.
