Job summary

Fairmont Banff Springs is seeking a highly energized Room Reservations professional to join our Reservations team. You will handle reservations and internal/external communications for leisure, group, and FIT segments, while maintaining accuracy and guest satisfaction.

The role requires attention to detail, a gregarious disposition, and the ability to grow skills in Reservations and Revenue Management within a hospitality setting in the Canadian Rockies.

Qualifications

• Previous reservations or sales experience is an asset.
• Opera PMS and CRS experience is an asset.
• Must display strong communication, analytical, organizational and administrative skills.
• Strong computer skills with Word and Excel.
• Must be willing to work shifts and varied days off.

Responsibilities

• Make room reservations and handle communications for leisure, group, tour and FIT segments.
• Produce and execute daily reports for segments; audit reservations and update as needed.
• Correspond with guests via email or telephone; monitor Reservations voicemail.
• Collaborate with Sales, Front Office and Accounting to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Assist with duties in other Reservations Segments when required.
