Position Summary
Position Summary : The Psychological Trauma and Stress Systems (PTSS) lab is a team located at the University of Regina within the Faculty of Arts. The PTSS lab is led by Dr. R. Nicholas Carleton, a clinical psychologist and expert of psychological trauma in Canadian public safety personnel (PSP). The PTSS lab team is dedicated to helping PSP thrive and backed by clinicians, researchers, and operational staff who provide evidence-informed lifesaving solutions to reduce the impacts of trauma and stress.
Reporting to Dr. R. Nicholas Carleton, the Research Associate will support the evaluation of the RCMP PTSD Longitudinal Study and other projects within the PTSS lab through a range of activities that will primarily include participant data management, data analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) and writing for both academic and public audiences.
As part of the position, the Research Associate will be working together with the lab team in any of these following activities :
Supervision and training will be provided.
Remote work is a possibility.
Position Requirements :
A graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Social Work, Education, Educational Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
