Job summary

Western Financial Group is hiring an Insurance Sales Representative in Kitchener. You will learn from industry sales experts and promote our Commercial Insurance programs to independent businesses across Canada.

The role offers a base salary plus unlimited commissions, with annual and monthly bonuses, and a focus on building long-term client relationships. A strong hunter mindset, customer focus, and proven negotiation and closing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RIBO license is an asset and must be obtained within 3 months.
• Proven relationship builder with strong negotiation, selling and closing techniques.
• Hunter mindset with entrepreneurial drive to pursue and close new business opportunities.
• Resilient team player with a results‑oriented attitude.
• Experience in commercial insurance sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the innate desire to generate new business opportunities both independently and working as a team.
• Strategize and refine your sales approach by focusing on target market prospects.
• Adapt cold-calling strategies to attract new customers, set quotas and monitor KPIs.
• Interact with clients while obtaining relevant information through our sales process.
• Demonstrate active listening to understand prospect needs and turn leads into opportunities.
• Maintain excellent organization to navigate our CRM program.

Insurance Sales Representative

Western offers our Commercial Sales representatives an Annual base Salary plus unlimited commissions, including annual and monthly bonus payouts.

Here Is What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Support the innate desire to generate new business opportunities both independently and working as a team
• Strategize and refine your sales approach by focusing on target market prospects
• Constantly adapt your cold-calling strategies to attract new customers, set personal quotas and monitor your performance using proven KPIs,
• Possess the confidence to interact with clients while obtaining relevant information through our sophisticated sales process
• Demonstrate superior active listening skills to understand prospects' needs through building long-term, trusting relationships and turn leads as sales opportunities
• Exhibit outstanding organizational skills to efficiently navigate our CRM program

Role Details

• Hours: Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours/week)
• Location: Office role in Kitchener
• Compensation: $40,000 salary + 40% commission on new business
