Job summary

Western Financial Group is seeking an Insurance Advisor in Terrace, BC to help clients protect what matters most by selling home and auto policies and building lasting relationships. This role offers full-time hours and on-site work in Terrace, with a structured training path for unlicensed candidates.

Successful applicants will navigate multiple programs, and possess or develop a General Level 1 Insurance License.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided for the right candidate.
• General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• Ability to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and via email.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person, and email.
• Assist customers with the purchase of home and auto policies.
• Manage relationships and meet insurance sales targets.
• Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.

Insurance Advisor - Terrace

As an Insurance Advisor you are responsible for meeting sales targets through quotes and by referring new business. Every day you will be build lasting relationships with your customers, helping to protect what matters most to them.

Here is what a typical day looks like

• You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
• Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
• You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business

The value you bring

• You do not need experience, if unlicensed, we would provide applicable training for the right candidate
• General Level 1 Insurance License an asset
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs
• You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email
• Prior experience achieving sale targets in a similar or comparable role
• Working experience in EPIC an asset
• Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week
• Location: Terrace, BC
• Compensation Range: $51,000 - $61,000
