Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Rental Account Manager in Canada to drive inside and outside sales, develop new business opportunities, and grow rental revenues. The role offers a clear career path toward Customer Development Manager and/or Business Development Manager within the Lease division.

Type: Full-time; Salary: $50,000–$55,000 CAD annually plus commission, phone allowance and car allowance. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with travel up to 40–50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business or a related field.
• Three (3) years or more of demonstrated success in a sales role required.

Responsibilities

• Develop brand new business opportunities.
• Build & grow relationships with existing clientele.
• Development and execution of marketing and sales strategies to identify and nurture new sales opportunities and increase rental revenues.
• Interact with existing or prospective customers to identify and customize solutions and present proposals to resolve transportation problems/needs.
• Provide ongoing support to existing accounts and dealer network to ensure retention and generate revenue.

Summary

The Rental Account Manager will have responsibility for both inside and outside sales. This role will grow with a career path toward Customer Development Manager and/or Business Development Manager roles in our Lease division

Type: Full-time

Essential Functions

• Develop brand new business opportunities
• Build & grow relationships with our existing clientele

• Provision of ongoing support to existing accounts and to dealer network to ensure customers retention, generate additional or replacement.
• Attainment of sales goals at or above quota.

Compensation Information
