Job summary

Recurrent Energy, a leading renewable energy developer and subsidiary of Canadian Solar, seeks a Portfolio Manager in Asset Management to oversee construction financing across solar and storage projects in the Kitchener area.

You will coordinate loan draws, monitor budgets, manage lender reporting, and work with Project Management, Treasury, and Accounting to ensure compliance and timely funding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project finance, portfolio management, or construction finance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with construction loan draws and lender reporting.
• Strong financial analysis and budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and controls.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced renewable energy setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review, validation, and submission of construction loan draw requests for solar and storage projects.
• Coordinate collection and validation of supporting documentation (invoices, pay applications, contracts, change orders, lien waivers, budget updates).
• Ensure draw requests comply with financing agreements and lender requirements.
• Coordinate with lenders, independent engineers, and legal teams throughout the draw process.
• Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and monthly reporting.
