Job summary

Potentia Renewables Inc. is seeking an Associate Business Manager for AB & SK to oversee the financial and commercial performance of a portfolio of operating wind, solar and storage assets. This role partners with Operations, Finance, Legal and Development to ensure safe, compliant, and profitable operations across projects.

The position offers development opportunities within a growing team, with a base salary range of CAD 85,000–100,000 plus a 10% target bonus and 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in renewable energy asset management or project finance.
• Strong analytical and contractual capabilities.
• Ability to travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly financial reporting.
• Monitor project revenues, operating costs and cash flow; analyze variances and take corrective actions.
• Support monthly close processes including revenue verification and covenant compliance.
• Manage project financing compliance including covenant monitoring and lender reporting.
• Develop initiatives to improve cash flow through cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
