Job summary

BluEarth Renewables in Canada seeks a senior leader to drive the development of its renewable energy portfolio, including wind, solar, and storage projects. You will guide projects from origination through milestones to construction readiness, shaping schedules, budgets, and risk plans.

You'll mentor a Canadian development team, foster collaboration across regulatory, engineering, commercial, and finance functions, and build strong stakeholder relationships while advancing multiple concurrent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Sciences, Project Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive renewable energy project development experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading development teams or mentoring project developers. Proven success advancing complex renewable energy projects through development milestones.
• Strong experience in land strategy, stakeholder engagement, interconnection, permitting coordination, and commercial project advancement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and advancement of BluEarth’s Canadian renewable energy project portfolio.
• Drive projects from origination through milestones to construction readiness.
• Develop project execution strategies, schedules, milestone plans, budgets, and risk mitigation approaches.
• Coach and mentor a Canadian-based development team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional development execution across Regulatory, Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Transmission/Interconnection, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Operations.
• Support landowner engagement and development of site control agreements.
