Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group is seeking a Business Development Manager in Canada to lead client relationships and drive growth within the crypto mining sector. You will manage onboarding, strategize opportunities, and coordinate with technical teams to align customer requirements with Bitdeer's mining infrastructure offerings.

The role emphasizes sales leadership, market insight, and a proactive approach to partnerships across data centers, energy resources, and hosting opportunities in Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or business development; ability to originate customers and projects.
• Experience in equipment sales, particularly mining machines, power equipment, data center infrastructure, or similar technical products.
• Ability to develop and close direct miner sales opportunities and identify hosting, data center, or site partnership opportunities.
• Strong commercial awareness of energy, power, data centers, or industrial infrastructure; understanding of power pricing and project timelines.
• Experience with power developers, IPPs, utilities, natural gas, data centers, EPCs, electrical equipment, or Bitcoin mining preferred.
• Ability to develop local customers, power resources, sites, and strategic partners in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including institutions and mining companies; be the primary contact for account matters.
• Sales & Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business within existing accounts and onboard new clients.
• Project Coordination: Oversee mining operations projects, coordinating with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor client account performance, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to stakeholders.
• Market Insight: Stay updated on trends in crypto mining, blockchain technology, and competitor activities to offer strategic advice.
• Problem Resolution: Address client concerns promptly, implementing improvements to enhance satisfaction and retention.
