Job summary

Relq Technologies Llc. is seeking a Sr. QA Automation+ Manual Engineer for a 6+ months contract, remotely from Canada.

The role focuses on designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing functional and regression tests, and ensuring integration with CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong QA automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and API testing, plus hands-on programming in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in QA Automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, SOAP UI).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Ensure test coverage for web, API, and backend applications
• Support UAT and production validation when required
• Follow best practices for test automation and QA standards

The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment to ensure functional, regression, and performance testing are automated and scalable.
