Job summary

Teradyne Robotics is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow UR and MiR sales in Ontario. You will manage a designated territory, lead multi-channel partnerships, and drive revenue with distributors, integrators, OEMs, and end-users.

The role requires technical product knowledge, strong communication, and a track record in outside sales. You will collaborate with division management and support departments, travel as needed, and report to the Regional Sales Manager, East.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quota.
• Experience selling technical products to distributors and omni-channel partners.
• Experience with industrial automation or factory automation solutions.
• Ability to engage senior decision makers and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals/quotas in the assigned geography.
• Manage opportunity funnel, forecast and action plans.
• Drive KPIs and action plans to hit combined UR/MiR targets; address gaps.
• Joint visits with distributors and omni-channel reps to end-users and OEMs.
• Support partners through the sales process: visits, demos, pricing, negotiations.
• Qualify leads and collaborate with Inside Sales to build a solid funnel.
• Lead regular business reviews with partners to drive growth.
• Represent UR and MiR at tradeshows and industry events.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive products and market activity.
• Ability to travel up to 50% overnight; remote work in Ontario.
