Job summary

TalentSphere is seeking a Private Client Adviser – Financial Planner / Securities Specialist/ Wealth Adviser to join a high-growth, global investment-management environment. This 100% remote opportunity focuses on business development, client acquisition and closing new relationships with high-net-worth clients in Canada.

You will not manage portfolios; you will convert qualified leads into clients and transition them to dedicated teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months combined IIROC/CIRO Investment Dealer registration
• 5+ years of financial-services, investment, wealth-management or securities experience
• Proven success in business development, client acquisition or investment sales
• Strong comfort discussing investments with high-net-worth individuals
• Proven ability to influence and close business
• Excellent telephone and virtual presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated and performance driven
• Comfortable operating in a metrics-focused sales environment
• Strong technological capability and confidence working remotely

Responsibilities

• Work with a consistent pipeline of warm, qualified prospective clients
• Conduct discovery conversations and understand investors' financial goals, current portfolios and concerns
• Present the firm's investment philosophy, services and value proposition
• Build trust with high-net-worth prospective clients
• Lead virtual and telephone-based sales conversations
• Convert qualified prospects into new clients
• Transition new clients to the dedicated relationship and portfolio-management teams
• Maintain disciplined follow-up throughout the sales process
• Focus your time almost exclusively on new business development and closing
