Job summary

Jonas Software is seeking a high-impact President to lead the BEC Legal Systems software business. This executive will own P&L, define strategy, and steer a cross-functional team across product, sales, customer success and operations.

The role demands a strong track record in B2B SaaS or Legal Tech, and the ability to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership. Remote Canada or USA-based, 40-hour week, reporting to the Group Leader.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, ideally in B2B SaaS or Legal Tech.
Track record of driving profitable growth, operational improvement, and customer success.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, retain, and develop top talent.
Strategic thinker with hands-on operational execution skills.
Deep understanding of recurring revenue business models and customer lifecycle management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including board and executive-level reporting.

Responsibilities

P&L Ownership & Business Performance: Take full accountability for the business unit’s financial health, growth, profitability, and operational execution.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Set and implement the long-term vision and growth strategy, aligned with the company's broader objectives and market opportunities.
Team Leadership & Culture Building: Lead, inspire, and develop a cross-functional team across product, sales, marketing, support, and operations.
Customer-Centric Growth: Deepen customer relationships, ensure high retention and satisfaction, and shape the product roadmap to meet evolving legal industry needs.
Operational Excellence: Streamline and scale operational processes to support growth while maintaining a high-quality customer and employee experience.
Market & Competitive Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics to ensure product and go-to-market relevance.
M&A and Integration (if applicable): Participate in M&A evaluation and lead post-acquisition integration of strategic acquisitions align with the business roadmap.
