Job summary

Bettermode is seeking a player-coach leader to architect and scale our outbound engine. You will define ICP, test messaging, and set up automation across email, LinkedIn, and calling.

In 6–9 months, you will execute campaigns personally before hiring SDRs, then lead pipeline growth, enablement, and team performance. You will work in a remote-first setup with hybrid options in the GTA, leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SDR/BDR or sales roles
• 2+ years in a leadership or player-coach capacity
• AI-native: leveraging AI tools to automate prospecting and personalize outreach
• Data-driven with CRM data, sequencing analytics, and funnel metrics
• Hands-on: running sequences and early discovery calls
• Systems thinker: building repeatable scalable processes

Responsibilities

• Design outbound strategy with ICP segmentation and channel mix
• Develop a repeatable, data-driven outbound motion
• Build and document the Outbound Playbook
• Partner with Marketing and Sales for lead handoff
• Execute outbound campaigns and test hypotheses
• Build dashboards to track pipeline creation and conversion rates
• Continuously A/B test messaging and channels
