Job summary

Manulife Bank is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager, Broker (BDM-B) to lead mortgage broker relationships across a defined geographic territory and promote the Bank’s full range of mortgage products. You will educate and train mortgage brokers, expand networks, and work with Manulife Financial to cross-sell deposit and loan solutions.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, strong relationship building, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of banking/credit experience.
• 5+ years experience in the Mortgage broker environment.
• Sound understanding of personal and commercial lending policies.
• Superior sales and customer service abilities.
• Highly organized and self disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and expand mortgage broker relationships within a territory through regular strategy meetings.
• Optimize delivery of value-added products and services for brokers and promote Bank offerings.
• Ensure compliance with policies and escalate concerns as needed.
• Share best practices with other managers and identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Collaborate with Manulife Financial and Bank reps to promote debt management and deposit solutions.
