Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote MEP Design Engineer for an innovative architectural and engineering firm focused on sustainable building design. You will design, develop, and coordinate MEP systems for global projects, with emphasis on HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, and water systems.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Building Services degree, 6+ years in MEP design, and ability to work with international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Pr.Eng or ECSA registration is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in MEP design engineering.
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency and green building practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer integrated MEP systems for buildings.
• Perform load calculations and energy modeling to optimize performance.
• Develop MEP drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate MEP with architectural and structural disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with codes and energy standards (ASHRAE, Green Star, LEED).
• Collaborate with remote project teams and clients.
• Provide technical support during project execution.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in MEP engineering.
