Job summary

EXP is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Mechanical Engineer in London, ON to lead design efforts within the Buildings group and collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams across offices. The role emphasizes design excellence, coordinating multidisciplinary work, and delivering project milestones in a hybrid environment.

You will apply advanced HVAC, hydronic, and control system knowledge while mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to codes, standards and project requirements across

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management/ mechanical design experience.
• Must hold a professional engineering, P.Eng. license with the PEO.
• Strong leadership skills and good communication capabilities.
• Building design experience is a must.
• Preferred experience in educational, institutional, healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and coordination for buildings projects.
• Coordinate with MEP/FP, Arch, Struct and other disciplines.
• Mentor designer staff and review designs for quality and compliance.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications and drawings.
