Recruiting in Motion is seeking an IT Recruiter to source and place IT professionals across multiple locations in Ontario. The role emphasizes a consultative, entrepreneurial approach with a culture that supports flexibility, remote work, and growth.

You will identify top IT talent, screen candidates, and coordinate offers, while leveraging social media and ATS tools. Candidates in Ontario are preferred, with a strong compensation package and commission potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an IT recruitment role in an agency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional brand representation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Interpersonal skills with a passion for working with people.
• Detail-oriented; able to analyze large data sets to identify top candidates.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone and learning about candidates’ backgrounds.
• Familiar with ATS and social media sourcing.

• Screen resumes and interview candidates for various positions and locations.
• Build and utilize recruiting strategies and social media to source passive candidates.

• Assist with offer letters and onboarding processes.
• Perform other related recruiting duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Locate and attract qualified, potential IT applicants.
• Communicate with potential applicants via video chat, phone, email, or in-person (when possible).
• Screen resumes and interview candidates for various positions and within multiple locations of the organization.
• Building, creating and utilizing recruiting strategies and social media tools designed to identify and source qualified passive candidates.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with universities, colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events.
• Assist with the preparation of offer letters and related onboarding functions.
• Other related functions as deemed necessary.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ recent years in a dedicated IT recruitment role in a recruitment agency.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with an ability to represent the brand professionally.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable sorting through and analyzing large amounts of data to find the ideal target candidate.
• Ability to talk confidently on the phone and learn about candidates' professional backgrounds.
• Ability to build a connection with potential candidates over the phone. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applications.
