Job summary

Homestead Studio is seeking a Mid-Level Retention Strategist to join the Email + SMS team, serving as the primary client contact and shaping strategy while overseeing lifecycle-focused campaigns. This role works closely with design and copy teams to improve customer lifecycles and drive profitable growth.

The candidate should have 2+ years in email marketing, hands-on Klaviyo/Postscript/Attentive experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in email marketing.
• At least one year managing Email + SMS accounts and strategy.
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo / Postscript / Attentive.
• Experience segmenting email and SMS lists.
• Client relationship management experience.
• Experience developing marketing assets with creative/e-commerce teams.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proactive problem-solver mindset and meticulous execution.
• Strategic thinker who works independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for assigned client accounts.
• Manage email production process end-to-end through ideation to design, build and scheduling.
• Assist with logic for email + SMS campaigns and automation.
• Oversee Email + SMS account strategy including segmentation, list growth, and A/B tests.
• Execute and evaluate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly email reporting with analysis.
• Collaborate with the creative team to identify trends and share learnings.
• Coordinate projects for new email triggers, transactional emails, and special projects.
• Stay current on best practices and recommend new approaches and technologies to meet KPIs.
