Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. We are seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead multiple fraud operations teams and drive scalable efficiency while maintaining a high-performance culture.

You will coach leaders and ICs, set strategy, and partner across functions to improve productivity, quality, and customer outcomes. This remote-first role offers national scope in Canada with potential office-based requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection within FinTech/tech.
• 5+ years in fraud management or related people management roles, including leading managers or senior ICs.
• Demonstrated success setting strategy and delivering large-scale operational change with measurable impact on efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
• Strong strategic planning, risk management, and prioritization skills with balance of short-term delivery and long-term capability building.
• Exceptional executive communication and influence skills for aligning diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading teams through major change and comfort with ambiguity.
• Experience with AI project-driven initiatives to improve efficiency or knowledge management.
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and data-driven methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a group of people leaders and ICs across multiple teams, providing feedback and career development.
• Define and champion a clear operational strategy and roadmap to improve function, efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Translate broader business goals into clear team-level objectives and ensure alignment across functions.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and drive incident resolution frameworks.
