Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead multiple fraud operations teams, driving strategy, performance, and scalable efficiency. You will develop people leaders and ICs, shaping a high-performance, inclusive culture while delivering productivity and accuracy across disputes and compliance activities.

The role emphasizes strategy, cross-functional alignment, and a data-driven approach to incident resolution, risk management, and optimization of investigator workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of disputes and fraud risk experience in FinTech/tech
• 5+ years in fraud management or related people leadership roles
• Proven success delivering large-scale operational change with measurable impact
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder alignment
• Experience with AI-driven initiatives and automation

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop talent across multiple teams and ICs with feedback and performance management
• Drive team performance using metrics like productivity, quality, customer outcomes and service levels
• Foster a high-performing, engaged team in a fast-paced environment
• Partner with recruiting to hire, onboard, and retain top talent
• Define and champion an operational strategy and roadmap to improve function, efficiency, quality and compliance
• Leverage domain expertise to implement transformational changes and streamline workflows
• Ensure accountability for service levels and productivity with data-driven burn down plans
