Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Systems Integration Support Technician (BC) based in Canada. This mid-level, full-time role offers hands-on work with smart building tech, including access control, CCTV, intercoms, networking, and IoT security technologies.

You will lead configuration, commissioning, and end-to-end project ownership, collaborating with customers, project managers, and contractors in a remote-first environment with travel to client sites in Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with access control, intercoms, CCTV/IP systems, intrusion systems, IoT, or related security tech.
• Strong expertise with access control platforms such as Salto, ICT, or Kantech; certified installer experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV platforms including Hanwha, Digital Watchdog, Axis, Uniview, or Avigilon.
• Experience installing and commissioning digital intercom systems and working with intrusion platforms such as DSC, Paradox, or Honeywell.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking, including DMZ, VLAN, VPN, RDM, IPsec, SSL, VoIP, and PoE.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and occasional onsite assistance at client locations, including travel to project sites.
• Support security contractors with the integration of smart building automation and IoT technologies.
• Program, configure, install, and commission security and building tech systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate clearly with customers, project managers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project updates and documentation within project management software.
• Take end-to-end ownership of IoT projects from initial integration to commissioning.
• Ensure installations and work meet project requirements and quality standards.
