Job summary

Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Canada) Inc. seeks a Control System Specialist within our Professional Development Services team.

You will design and program control system solutions for partners, OEMs, and corporate accounts, producing clear drawings and controller databases as contracted. Based in Surrey with a hybrid schedule, you will support BAS architecture, BACnet work, and field deployments; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical certification in an applicable Technologies program
• 2 years of experience as an Application Engineer in Building Automation
• Strong creative skills and attention to detail for control solutions
• Ability to complete control services and programming with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Knowledge of BACnet, networking, and HVAC applications

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales to evaluate incoming requests for Control System Solutions
• Develop solution proposals with the PDS Project Manager and Team Lead
• Provide engineering services to meet distributor demand and project needs
• Create control drawings and controller databases as contracted by customers
• Travel to sites locally or via air travel for up to 1 week when required
• Complete projects meeting high-quality standards and productivity expectations
• Support other PDS services as needed
