Job summary

BPA is an engineering firm in Canada seeking a Building Automation Engineer to contribute to the design, coordination, and commissioning of immotics systems on diverse projects. You will help ensure performance, connectivity, and sustainability of building automation systems.

You will work with clients and experts in a hybrid work environment, benefiting from a collaborative culture and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Electrical Engineering, Building Systems, Automation or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in design, coordination, or commissioning of building automation/immotics systems.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems and associated tools (Revit is an asset).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision, coordination, and design for immotics projects.
• Conduct site surveys and assess existing systems.
• Design, adapt, and optimize building control and automation systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs.
• Contribute to report writing, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support project implementation and site follow-up.
