Job summary

Western Financial Group is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our national team on a remote basis across Canada. You will help manage annual compensation cycles, including merit planning and bonus programs, and you’ll ensure accuracy and policy alignment in every process.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years supporting a Compensation & Benefits team, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative, adaptable approach.

Qualifications

2+ years supporting a Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards team.
Strong intermediate Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile data.
Collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the ability to navigate change.
CCP certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

Execute annual compensation cycles including merit planning and bonus programs.
Process standard pay actions with approvals and adherence to compensation policies.
Perform data validation, system uploads, audits, and reconciliations related to compensation changes.
Support benchmarking by preparing survey submissions and analyzing market data.
Prepare and maintain recurring and ad hoc compensation reports.
Assist consultants in designing and improving total rewards programs.
Contribute to day-to-day administration of total rewards processes such as RRSP contributions and benefits billing.
