DGA Careers Inc. is partnering with a well-established independent insurance brokerage to recruit an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance.

This role focuses on servicing a commercial book of business, renewals, policy changes, billing, and client relationships with no sales responsibilities. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are offered depending on location, with an AMF Commercial Insurance License and a minimum of three years of experience required.

Qualifications

• AMF Commercial Insurance License is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial insurance.
• Experience with manufacturing and technology accounts is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable with multiple software platforms and managing a digital workflow.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Producer to manage and service a commercial insurance portfolio.
• Review client needs and ensure timely follow-up on requests and policy changes.
• Analyze risks and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Market accounts and negotiate favorable terms with carriers.
• Manage policy renewals and deadlines.
• Support clients through the claims process and provide ongoing assistance.
• Prepare proposals, coverage summaries, and client documentation.
• Oversee policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, and billing activities.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure brokerage procedures compliance.
