Epiq Counsel is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to support its Canadian legal team on a remote basis. This full-time engagement runs through at least the end of the year, with potential for extension, and offers the flexibility of working from anywhere in Canada.

Qualifications

• Qualified Canadian lawyer with significant commercial contracts experience.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating standard and complex commercial agreements.
• In-house legal experience preferred, ideally supporting a multinational organization.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including distribution, procurement, MSAs, statements of work, and purchase orders.
• Independently manage standard and complex contracting matters from review through execution.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and provide practical legal guidance.
• Identify material contractual risks and communicate pragmatic solutions.
• Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment and provide client-facing legal support.
