A law degree.
Membership in good standing withthe Law Society of Ontario, Law Society of British Columbia, and/or Law Society of Alberta.
A minimum of 6yearsof practical related in-house and/or private practice experience in Construction.
The ability to give a clear,business-drivenanswer under time pressure and stand behind it.
Comfortoperatingwith autonomy. Our lawyers areindependentby design and run their own mandates.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including CCDC contracts, EPCMs, engineering services agreements, and other complex construction and development contracts.
Advise on legal risk, project structuring, procurement strategy (including open RFPs), and execution across the full project lifecycle-from pre-development to post-construction.
Advise and negotiate P3/infrastructure agreements, including concession, design-build-finance-maintain, and operations contracts.
Experience advising on and negotiating outsourcing, supply chain, technology supply and licensing agreements, and cloud services agreements would be considered an asset.
Experience supporting supply chain and procurement processes and issues, including RFTs, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and any related contract disputes, would also be considered an asset.
