• 7-10 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house focusing on commercial real estate.
• Private equity, financing and corporate experience is considered an asset.
• Experience supporting transactions involving U.S. assets or cross-border matters is an asset.

• Review, revise and negotiate general corporate and commercial contracts.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house focusing on commercial real estate. Private equity, financing and corporate experience is considered an asset.
• A lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be professional and be dependable with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
• Experience supporting transactions involving U.S. assets or cross-border matters is an asset.
