Job summary

Instacart is seeking a Sales Executive to own a portfolio of major Canadian CPG advertisers and turn relationships into long-term, high-value partnerships. The role sits at the intersection of digital advertising, retail media, and CPg strategy, with direct visibility into how Canadian brands invest and grow on Instacart.

You will lead a data-driven sales approach, build trust with clients, and collaborate with Account Management to deliver measurable business growth in Canada.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a sales environment, including 2–3+ years in digital advertising or CPG sales
• Proven track record managing client relationships and driving measurable growth
• Comfort analyzing and speaking to CPG and advertising insights, KPIs, and business performance metrics
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with data storytelling
• Strong client service orientation and accountability for outcomes
• Familiarity with standard sales tools (Microsoft Office/Excel, Google Drive, Salesforce) and ability to work with large datasets to extract insights (SQL, Tableau a plus)

Responsibilities

• Build a thriving book of business of 10–15 CPG accounts with strong retention and expanding investments
• Activate new advertiser relationships across Canadian CPG brands to grow Instacart's ads footprint
• Cultivate trusted executive relationships within client portfolio and act as a strategic advisor
• Develop a repeatable data-driven sales motion using storytelling and case studies to demonstrate value
• Ensure seamless collaboration with Account Management and cross-functional teams to avoid missed opportunities
