Scale Up is hiring a meticulous Bookkeeper for the Canada Practice. This 100% remote role requires ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple Canadian clients, including reconciliations and month-end closes, with strong client communication via email and Zoom.

You will use cloud tools like Xero or QuickBooks Online, with automated data extraction via Dext, Hubdoc, and related systems, while maintaining Canadian payroll and tax compliance knowledge.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Public practice/bookkeeping experience managing multiple client accounts.
• Strong working knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping standards and GST/HST/PST.
• Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Online and related document tools.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain end-to-end management of client cloud accounting platforms with high accuracy.
• Process receipts, bills, and source documents using automated extraction tools.
• Code daily bank feeds and perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit accounts.
• Handle Canadian payroll transactions and statutory filings.
• Oversee payables and receivables to support client cash flow.
• Execute month-end closes and prepare financial reports under supervision.
• Communicate proactively with clients to address questions and issues.
