Job summary

StackAdapt is seeking a Staff Accountant in Canada to support the month-end close, prepare journal entries, and maintain reconciliations. You will collaborate with Finance and other teams to improve accounting processes, including automation opportunities.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Controllership, and leverages NetSuite, FloQast, and Zip. Strong analytical skills and CPA progress are valued in a remote-first, Canada-wide setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience, incl. month-end close.
• CPA designation or working toward it is preferred.
• Experience with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analyses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries including accruals.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly fluctuation analyses with explanations for variances.
• Review cross-functional documentation for accuracy of records.
