SRJ Chartered Professional Accountants, a leading remote accounting firm in Canada, seeks a Senior Cloud Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping, tax returns, payroll, and related processes. You will handle bank reconciliations, HST, and client files while leveraging cloud software to enhance efficiency and client experience.

The role emphasizes learning new technology and improving processes, with responsibilities spanning year-end tasks, tax slips, and government filings.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience, with preference for QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and handling accounts payable/receivable.
• Canadian corporate tax exposure (1–2 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bank Reconciliations & Entries in QuickBooks and Xero to ensure data accuracy.
• Manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable & Invoicing processes.
• Assist with Year-end Records and payroll processing; file T4 & T5 as applicable.
