Job summary

Dexterra is seeking a District Manager II for a remote camp setting. This full‑time leadership role oversees multiple sites, develops teams, strengthens client relationships, and drives regional performance. You’ll own the P&L, influence safety and quality, and report to the Regional Operations Director.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in operations or business development, strong leadership, and financial acumen. Expect travel 25–40%.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of Operations/Business Development experience.
• Post-Secondary Education in Management or Business-related degree is considered an asset.
• Familiar with current industry technology.
• Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain employees.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train all direct reports.
• Plans, overseas, and operationalizes the business plan in the region.
• Identify, sell and implement new business opportunities in key markets to meet sales targets.
• Develop plans and budgets to meet financial targets.
• Facilitate and manage client relationships across the region.
• Manage a multi-site field leadership team to ensure compliance with procedures.
